About Cumberland Moving
Cumberland Moving started in 2012 with one 16-foot box truck and two brothers moving apartments around East Nashville. Today we run six trucks and 38 W-2 movers, and we still do not use day labor: every person who carries your furniture is our employee, background-checked and trained on our own loading dock.
Two numbers explain how we work. First, our damage claims rate is under 1 percent across 11,200 moves, because packing standards are checked against a written inventory on every job. Second, our quote-to-invoice variance is zero on flat-rate moves: the number we send before the move is the number you pay after it.

Our office moved over a weekend. Desks down Friday at 6pm, rebuilt Sunday afternoon, and the team walked in Monday like nothing happened.
